Skid Steer (Bobcat Operator)
The course will cover: skid steer loader design, rated operating capacity, weight distribution, centre of gravity, attachments, drive train, safety features, controls, maintenance, entry and exit procedures, transportation and driving/operation. This certification is generally required for individuals working in construction, landscaping, irrigation, farming and ranching. Bring a bag lunch.

H2S Alive
Hydrogen Sulphide safety training is a course administered by Enform (formerly known as Petroleum Industry Training Services) and is the Canadian upstream petroleum industry standard for hydrogen sulphide safety training. This is a mandatory course for working in the oil and gas industry. The course content includes: use of breathing apparatus, gas detection, rescue techniques and resuscitation. The certificate is valid for 3 years, after which time the course must be retaken. Bring a bag lunch.

Air Brake “Q” Endorsement
The Air Brake Q Endorsement course is required of anyone that operates air brake equipped trucks, whether it is a tractor-trailer, or a single axle straight truck. The course has two components, a classroom session, and a practical component with hands-on practice adjusting brakes and pre-tripping the air brake system. Participants will do a written and practical exam at the end of the class for certification. Bring a bag lunch.

Confined Space Entry/Rescue includes Lockout & Tagout
This training program is designed to enable workers and employers to ensure existing and potential confined space work locations are identified, and that a written confined space entry program is developed and maintained by the employers. After completing this course, participants will be able to:
· Demonstrate and apply controls that prevent accidental exposure to hazards related
to confined space entry
· Identify hazards; understand process isolation/lockout and tag out procedures
· Reference and apply applicable legislation
· Demonstrate application of controls
· Prepare and apply rescue plan
· Retain required documentation

Ground Disturbance – Trenching and Excavation
This course is recommended for persons working in construction, pipeline work, electrical, farming and ranching, landscaping, municipal, provincial and federal employees involved in digging and heavy equipment operation. The material covers soil types, excavation, shoring and back sloping, Alberta First Call, responsibilities and hazard management and controls.

CPR Level C (Adult, Child & Infant) and AED (Automatic External Defibrillation)
No matter where you are, people of all ages can suffer heart failure. From choking to cardiac arrest, the situation is life-threatening and requires swift, effective response. Students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult, a child or an infant, whose heart has stopped or who is choking. They will learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, and learn 2-rescuer CPR. Knowing what to do can save a life. St. John Ambulance can give you the skills you need. This course also includes AED certification.
