Country Dance
This introduction focuses on good basic patterns, foot placement, dance floor etiquette and beat recognition. Easy dance moves with emphasis on having FUN. Sessions will cover popular dances such as 2-step, country cha cha; polka and country swing. Leather soled shoes recommended. Must register in pairs.

Xeriscaping
Xeriscaping, from the Greek word “xeros” which means “dry”, is the creation of a garden that uses less water than traditional landscaping. Xeriscaping uses rock gardens, cacti and other drought – resistant plants. It conserves water, presents minimal pest and disease problems, thrives with little fertilization and requires low pruning and maintenance. Hans will discuss removal of sod, preparation of the ground, use of hard ground cover and plant and shrub selection and installation.

Genealogy – How Do I Get Started with Family History?
This class will introduce you to the basic steps of how to start your own family history. The first class will cover the many sources where you can find information close to home, and how you can proceed with research. The second class will look at the Personal Ancestral File (PAF) computer program which is a free genealogy and family history program. PAF allows you to quickly and easily collect, organize and share your family history and genealogy information.
