Region 7 Regional Resource Leader: Jane Brenner
Executive Director, Taber and District Community Adult Learning Association
Jane Brenner has been involved in the field of Adult Education since 1985. Under her direction the Taber & District Community Adult Learning Association has initiated the LCC Taber Campus in 1987, the Taber Literacy Program in 1987, ELL program since 1985, the Community Access Program in 1997, the Career Resource Centre in 1998, and the ELL Drop In Centre in 2007 and Citizenship Services in 2011. She is an advocate for lifelong learning and believes you are never too old to learn. The Community Learning Network recognized Jane in 2000 for her contribution to Lifelong Learning in the province of Alberta. She has been married for 35 years and is the mother of three adult children, and three very special grandchildren and one spoiled dog. She believes that “nothing successful is ever done in isolation but rather through partnerships and collaboration.” Jane believes that dreams and a vision are the two things everyone needs to have.
